Introduction
To effectively maximise the adspend of the direct division within East Coast Radio, managing relationships with some existing clients, but with a strong focus on New Business Development.

Specification
Manage a portfolio of Direct clients
•Regular reporting on sales related activity on a weekly basis
•Building and maintaining a close relationship with existing clients
•Attend ECR events and host clients

Clients to ensure FM and non-FM targets are achieved
•Drive and actively engage in the sales process to ensure stakeholder needs are met
•Monitoring of campaigns and regular tracking and trending of spend
•Establish a new portfolio of Clients and develop strong stakeholder relations within the Direct Client portfolio.
•Manage the stations’ CRM opportunities for advertiser benefit

Requirements
Educational requirements:
• Grade 12 Matric


Skills requirements:
•Preferably 2 years’ experience in the advertising and media sales environment
•At least 3 years successful experience in sales essential
•Excellent communication skills – written, verbal and telephonic
•Ability to make decisions
•Above average problem-solving ability and negotiation skills
•Excellent presentation skills

Knowledge requirements:
•Business management principles
•Customer relationship management
•Thorough understanding of the sales and marketing process
•Broad media knowledge, radio would be beneficial
•Hunger and Initiative
•Excellent Inter-Personal skills/EQ
